You have come to this page as we invited you to attend our upcoming online event, a collaboration between appellando, a sector-wide grievance mechanism framework, and our campaign inspired by the documentary film THE PICKERS.

This observational documentary looks at the living and working conditions of migrant workers in the fruit and vegetable fields of Europe. In a non-accusatory style, the film allows us to get to know the humans behind our produce. 

Based on the film, a campaign advocating for migrant workers' rights will launch in March 2025. Ahead of its public launch, we would like to show you clips from the film and host a live conversation with produce sector experts and filmmaker Elke Sasse. Together, we want to discuss solutions and look at examples of best practice. 

Our online session will take place on Wednesday, 26 February 2025, from 15:00 - 16:30 CET.

The event is free but registration is required. Just fill in the form, and you will soon receive an online ticket with further instructions.
